Each guide on Plain Hooks opens with a photograph. Almost all of them are in the public domain (CC0 or public domain mark), found through Openverse or Wikimedia Commons; one is used under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence, credited below as that licence requires.
The photos illustrate a topic with everyday objects (a postbox for email, a padlock for logins); they are not screenshots of WordPress or of any plugin. Any people shown are models with no connection to the subjects discussed, and no product or service is endorsed.

Licences
CC0 means the creator has waived copyright as far as the law allows, and the public domain mark identifies works free of known copyright: such images may be used without permission or attribution. We credit them anyway so readers can check where each picture comes from. Images marked CC BY or CC BY-SA are used under those licences, which require the credit given above; the resized versions shown here are shared under the same licence. Images were resized and cropped for this site. If you believe a photo has been mislabelled, please tell us via the contact page.
